HMS Athletics

Welcome to HMS Athletics

Harden Middle School is Home of the Huskies!

Want to play sports?

Students just need to meet eligibility requirements and bring a legal parent/guardian to the Athletics Contract Meeting in order to try-out or join a team.

Most sports have a try-out period. We encourage all of our Huskies to try everything! (Tip: 4th quarter grades determine fall sport eligibility.)

Our school offers the following after-school sports teams:

Fall Sports:
  • Girls Volleyball
  • Boys Soccer
  • Boys & Girls Cross Country

Winter Sports:
  • Boys & Girls Basketball

Spring Sports:
  • Girls Soccer
  • Boys Volleyball
  • Boys & Girls Flag Football
  • Boys & Girls Wrestling
  • Boys & Girls Track & Field

We strive to uphold the standard of Pursuing Victory with Honor, which is maintaining the six pillars of character.

The six pillars are:
  • Trustworthiness
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Fairness
  • Caring
  • Citizenship

Our coaches and student athletes will respect the integrity and judgment of our officials.  We expect the fans to do the same.  Cheer positively for your team and acknowledge special plays for both teams.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and respecting the game!
