Open at lunch and after school as a quiet place to study.
 
Homework Center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Bus transportation is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
 
Our Homework Center is staffed by HMS teachers and para-educators on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After the final school bell, students have enough time to pick up their after-school snack in the cafeteria. Food is currently not allowed in the library.
 
Students need to enter the library, open their agenda, and get right to work. Students need an ID to use a textbook, computer or to check out materials (colored pencils, rules, etc.). If a student has lost or misplaced their ID, then they can purchase a new one at the Student Store for $5.00.
 
Once students check in at 2:50 pm, they are not allowed to leave until 3:55 unless a parent or guardian reports to the office to check them out early. Any student that interferes with the learning of others or is unproductive may lose their homework center privileges. In those cases, we will attempt to notify parents at the most current phone number on record.
 

Personal Tutoring

Each teacher is available for extra help. Please read each teacher's syllabi during the first week of school or contact teachers by email / phone for specific dates and times.
