Open at lunch and after school as a quiet place to study.
 
Open after school starting August 8th from 2:40 - 3:40. The homework center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays.
 
Our Homework Center is staffed by one to two HMS teachers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After the final school bell, students have enough time to pick up their after-school snack in the cafeteria. Food is currently not allowed in the library.
 
Students need to enter the library, open their agenda, and get right to work. Students need an ID to use a textbook, computer or to check out materials (colored pencils, rules, etc.). If a student has lost or misplaced their ID, then they can purchase a new one at the Student Store.
 
Once students check in at 2:45, they are not allowed to leave until 3:40 unless a parent or guardian reports to the office to check them out early. Any student that interferes with the learning of others or is unproductive may lose their homework center privileges. In those cases, we will attempt to notify parents at the most current phone number on record.
